Paris

April 2, 2017

Paris … you’re amazing. Honestly I didn’t expect to be so amazed by Paris. I have travelled a fair bit with my job and each city brings something different. But not like Paris.

The very first moment we arrived we threw the bags down and ran out the door like kids going to Disneyland….and it didn’t disappoint. The streets were completely different to anything I had experienced before. It wasn’t like any normal city – it oozed history. It’s streets reeked of culture and a different way of life. The buildings with their balconies looking over cobbled streets and people living it seems a different life to the rest of the world.

The first day we couldn’t bear to leave the streets of paris. We walked 15km and took in the cathedral of Note Dame, the Louvre, the river Seine, the Eiffel Tower and the shops and markets of Paris. We were drunk on its spirit.

The first day in Paris will live with me for the rest of my life.
